CineArts Academy is proud to announce a strategic three-year partnership with Cinema UG to deliver a comprehensive capacity-building initiative aimed at strengthening Uganda’s creative industry. This collaboration will feature a wide range of workshops, seminars, intensive trainings, and mentorship programs focused on high-demand areas such as Filmmaking, 3D Animation and Visual Effects, Graphic Design, Journalism, and Game Design.

Designed to support both emerging talent and experienced professionals, the initiative will address skill gaps, introduce global industry standards, and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation. Participants will benefit from access to hands-on instruction, expert-led sessions, real-world projects, and networking opportunities that enhance both creative and technical capabilities. Whether someone is taking their first steps into the creative sector or seeking to advance their existing career, this partnership offers a pathway to growth, professional development, and international collaboration.

By combining CineArts Academy’s international expertise in creative education with Cinema UG’s strong local presence and industry insight, the program is positioned to make a lasting impact on the Ugandan creative landscape. Together, the two institutions aim to nurture a thriving ecosystem of skilled creatives who can confidently compete and collaborate on a global stage. Program activities will launch in phases starting August 2025 and continue through 2028, with registration details to be announced soon.
